Abstract:
Specific features of the reconstruction of the spectrum of optical phonons accompanying the change of x in ZnxCd1-xTe are discussed, in particular, a positive slope of both branches of transverse phonons, a sublinear change of the upper branch of longitudinal phonons, etc. These features are attributed to the proximity of the frequency of the local Zn mode to the boundary of the CdTe phonon spectrum.
