Abstract:
Different formulas describing the temperature dependence of viscosity η(T) near the critical point of solution stratification are considered. It is shown that approximation of experimental data by different formulas yields different values of the critical viscosity index Xη. Applying the formula which describes η(T) in a broad temperature range yields a value of Xη significantly different from that predicted theoretically.
