Abstract:
The degree of recombination moderation observed in the simulation of the multiparticle dynamics of Coulomb particles is considered. The recently published statements that the recombination moderation is caused by a sharp weakening of bound-free electron interaction and that computer simulations demonstrate the necessity for a radical reconsideration of the kinetic three-body recombination models are shown to be inconsistent. It is pointed out that the retardation of recombination occurs because direct and inverse transitions in the energy spectrum cancel out. The interpretation of this phenomenon is summed up.
