Abstract:
A method allowing observation of heat transport in a solid sample after the impact of a laser pulse was developed; this method is based on measurements of the temperature variations on the sample surface. In order to measure an increase in temperature, an MG-30 pyroelectric detector of thermal radiation was connected in the synchronous-demodulation circuit. This method is presumed to be used for studying the so-called waves of variations in reflection and conductivity. These waves may be regarded as a manifestation of solitonic mechanism of heat transport in solids.
