Abstract:
The thermodynamic potential of a multi-sublattice ferrimagnet is calculated for the region of magnetic fields smaller than the characteristic value of exchange interactions between sublattices. This effective thermodynamic potential is shown to depend on one variable (order parameter) which is represented by a unit vector directed along the "antiferromagnetic vector of the system" and the small expansion parameter is equal to the sublattice angularity induced by the external magnetic field.
