Abstract:
The kinetic characteristics of Brownian motion of an inelastic particle in an ideal gas are investigated by way of numerical simulation. The 3D motion with different boundary conditions is considered for the interaction of atoms with a Brownian particle. The velocity distribution functions for a Brownian particle are obtained. The simulation is carried out by molecular dynamics technique.
