HELIOCOSMIC RADIATION AND ITS CONNECTION WITH SOLAR ACTIVITY

Abstract:
We present the results of investigation of variations of electromagnetic and corpuscular radiation incident onto the upper boundary of the Earth atmosphere, depending on the level of solar activity. We also present time dependences of monthly data on Wolf numbers (W), ionosphere index (Iuv), solar radioactive intensity at 10.7 cm (R), solar constant, cosmic ray intensity (Icr), density and velocity of solar wind over the period of their simultaneous observations since (1953-1964) to 2001. Regression relations between the indicated parameters and the Wolf numbers are found. It is shown that there exists a tight relation between Iuv and W, R and W, and Icr and W (with correlation coefficients K > 0.8). The first three parameters also have similar spectra. The relation between the other parameters and W is rather loose (K < 0.5).
