WHAT SPECIFIC HEAT IS INVOLVED IN THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY EQUATION?
Authors:
A.A. Samokhin.

Abstract:
Attention is paid to the controversy and the lack of consistency in the forms of writing the thermal conductivity equation for a motionless liquid in different physical issues. It is shown that in a consistent consideration of a complete hydrodynamic system of equations the answer to the question of the specific heat (cp or cv) value in the thermal conductivity equation does not arouse any doubt. We give a nontrivial example of the solution of the thermal conductivity equation T(x, t) which guarantees immobility of the medium with a constant total volume and temperature-dependent values of the density and thermal conductivity coefficient.
