Abstract:
The Fermi motion of nucleons (the kinematic effect) is shown to result in a pole shift of the vector meson propagator in nuclear matter, which has the same order of magnitude as the change of the meson mass owing to the interaction of the meson with nuclear nucleons (the dynamic effect).
