SIMULATION OF VARIOUS IN VITRO STATES OF CELL DIFFERENTIATION IN THE BLOOD OF HEALTHY DONORS AND ACUTE-LEUKEMIA PATIENTS. 2. SIMULATION WITH THE AID OF COUPLED DISCRETE GINZBURG-LANDAU CHAINS

Abstract:
Two cycles of blood cell differentiation were interpreted as two chains of interconnected attractors in the framework of the dynamics of two parametrically coupled discrete chains of the Ginzburg?Landau equations. The oscillations in blood cell concentrations in vitro were interpreted as a result of beating in the solutions of the chains of coupled equations that describe the dynamics of transitions between the attractors simulating various cell differentiation states. The development of leukemia in the framework of the model is described as (1) a decrease of the at-tractor dimension in the model of the differentiation of in vitro blood cells (described by a Ginzburg-Landau chain) and (2) a transition from the cycle of complex attractors in the sequence of basic cell differentiation states into the cycle of simple attractors of leukemic (tumor) cell differentiation.
