Abstract:
Samples of genetically modified (transgenic) and the natural soya flour were studied by isochronous-photoluminescence spec?troscopy. The spectra were excited by the copper-vapor pulse-periodic laser second harmonic (wavelength 255.3 nm). The pho?toluminescence spectra of the modified and unmodified soya sam?ples were found to be significantly different in the range 300?500 nm. Setting a 50-ns delay decreases the photoluminescence in?tensity by more than an order of magnitude, the number and the appearance of the observed maxima being also changed. For all the modified samples, the photoluminescence maxima shifted to longer wavelengths. The observed effects are explained on the basis of the polariton model.
