Title: INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENT ON THE FLUORESCENCE OF LANTHANIDE COMPLEXES OF PORPHYRINS. Authors: V.V. Savranskii, I.A. Nagovitsyn, G.K. Chudinova. Abstract: Comparison studies of the influence of surface-active substances (SAS) of different polarity (anionic sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS), cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (????), and neutral Triton X-100) on the fluorescence of the Yb complex of mesotetra(p-sulfophenyl)porphyrin (YbTSPP) in solutions is per?formed. The YbTSPP fluorescence is strongly affected by the properties and polarity of the SAS groups interacting with the Yb3+ ion. The greatest enhancement (by a factor of 4.5) of the IR fluorescence of YbTSPP (with respect to the aqueous solution of the latter) is obtained upon its incorporation into the micelles of anionic sodium dodecylsulphate.
