NONSTATIONARY MODEL OF DISSIPATIVE RESONANCE TUNNELING OF ELECTRONS WITH SCATTERING BY OPTICAL PHONONS IN QUANTUM-WELL STRUCTURES
Authors:
L.Y. Shchurova, V.N. Murzin.

Abstract:
We used time-dependent Schr?edinger equations in the framework of the Wigner−Weisskopf method using Laplace approximation to formulate the model Hamiltonian having a non-Hermitian form and obtained exact analytical solutions for the wave functions and for the effective time of resonance tunneling, accompanied by an intense scattering of charge carriers by optical phonons, in a system of coupled quantum wells. It is shown that an account of additional terms compared to first-order perturbation theory affects the form of resonance dependences in an electric field and leads to asymmetry and widening of these dependences.
