Abstract:
The increment of the instability of the front of laser-induced evaporation of condensed media is investigated numerically for various values of optical and thermophysical parameters of the substance. It is shown that the joint effect of gas-dynamic perturbations and the bulk character of target heating lead to the formation of one short-wave aperiodic instability region. The dependences of the maximum increment of this instability on the surface tension coefficient of the substance are obtained.
