Abstract:
We present the results of many-years' monitoring of ozonosphere above Moscow using the FIAN (Lebedev Physics Institute) spectroradiometer at frequencies of ozone spectral line with center at 142.175 GHz. The altitude-temporal distribution of stratospheric ozone content and its variations are studied. It is established that the most notable changes in ozonosphere take place in cold seasons under the effect of large-scale atmospheric perturbations caused by the motion of the polar vortex over Moscow. The ozone content in the middle stratosphere can long be low and in some periods even anomalously low.
