Abstract:
A method of using soft X-ray radiation is proposed to control parameters of low-density laser-target layers. The method makes it possible to estimate density fluctuations in the bulk of a low-density laser target without its destruction and, in the presence of additives, to detect and estimate the homogeneity of the distribution of large-scale heavy-admixture agglomerates in the laser-target volume. The first results for the attestation of low-density targets made of cellulose triacetate with and without additives are presented.
