DIRECT DETERMINATION OF THE PARAMETERS OF S-WAVE EFFECTIVE RADIUS FUNCTIONS FROM A PHASE ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENTAL p-d SCATTERING CROSS SECTIONS
Authors:
L.S. Dulkova, E.V. Kuznetsova.

Abstract:
A phase analysis of the experimental data on p-d scattering differential cross sections was carried out in the deuteron energy range Ed = 0.800 − 2.010 MeV. The analysis included the results of recent measurements and allowed for D-wave contribution. The energy dependence was defined by the relations of the effective radius theory. The presence of a pole in the effective radius function for the S-phase for low positive energy (21?10 keV) was confirmed, and the negative doublet scattering length (−0.13?0.05 fm) was obtained in line with the preceding work of the authors. Simultaneously, we formed the experimental data bank for p-d scattering in the energy range Ed = 0.800 − 6.000 MeV for all the types of observables.
