Abstract:
In the framework of the semi-empiric turbulence theory, the average field is found for the air velocity above an irregular (but, on the average, plane) region of the Earth surface. The obtained velocity of motion vanishes at the Earth surface, takes a constant value beyond the boundary layer, and can be used in the analysis of the propagation of impurities contaminating the Earth atmosphere.
