1. Title:
NONLINEAR EFFECT OF PERIODICALLY VARYING CURRENT ON AN INFINITE CHAIN OF ABRIKOSOV-JOSEPHSON VORTICES
Authors:
A.V. Zverev, V.P. Silin.

Abstract:
An exactly solvable model of the effect of periodic current on a junction containing a chain of Abrikosov-Josephson vortices is considered within the framework of the resistive model for Josephson junctions with a high critical current density. An accurate description of such an effect allowed revealing a relaxation of the vortex state to a state periodically changing in time with period of the oscillating current. A nonlinear resonance of vortex-chain meters such as the oscillation amplitude of vortex position in the chain and the oscillation amplitude of the width of separate chainconstituting vortices with frequency of the periodic current was established. Finally, a resonance reconstruction of the magnetic field of the vortex chain from a clearly pronounced structure of the sequence of isolated vortices to a smooth harmonical dependence of the magnetic field along the Josephson junction was established.
