Abstract:
Micromagnetic structure of a ferromagnetic nanocontact was analyzed numerically on the basis of the Landau-Lifshits equation with account of the magnetic dipole-dipole interaction. Stability of the wall of a domain located at the nanocontact center was studied. Spontaneous violation of the domain structure symmetry was found to occur if external parameters (for example, an external magnetic field or magnetic anisotropy) decrease below certain critical values. This effect, in which a distance A between the domain-wall and nanocontact centers plays the role of the order parameter, resembles a second-order phase transition.
