Abstract:
The time dependence of the electron concentration in the plasma of an electric-discharge pulse-repetition CuBr-laser was determined by the quasi-optical method in the 100-??s interdischarge interval. The diagnostics was based on the plasma-frequency variation dynamics. The frequency range of the probe radiation was 78 − 133 GHz. The measured electron-density variation was 2??1014 − 6??1013 cm−3; the electron temperature ranged from 0.4 to 0.25 eV.
