Abstract:
This study is devoted to the kinetics of changes in the ATP (adenosine triphosphate) concentration and pH in cytoplasm, i.e., the most important cell parameters controlling rates of almost all metabolism processes. The authors propose to distinguish three metabolism modes during the cell cycle, which play an important role in cell vital functions. Two of them (activity and mitosis) are cyclic, and only one (rest) is characterized by the homeostasis of main cell parameters.
