Title: ANTIFERROMAGNETIC RESONANCE, MAGNETIC
AND ELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF CaMnO3 SINGLE CRYSTALS

Abstract: The static magnetic, electric, and submillimeter spectroscopic properties of nearly stoichiometric CaMnO3 single crystals grown by zone melting are investigated. It is shown that below the Neel temperature TN = (118 ? 1)K, CaMnO3 shows up a small weakly ferromagnetic moment (~0.025μB at T = 4.2K). The transmission spectra of a plane-parallel sample first exhibited antiferro-magnetic resonance modes in the Mn-subsystem at a frequency of ~ llcm-1 at 4K. With a temperature fall below TN, the dielectric constant decreased owing to the spin-phonon interaction in CaMnO3.
