Abstract:
The problem of vibrational excitation spectrum of a solid solution was solved. The inclusion of scattering of excitations from multiimpurity complexes made it possible to interpret the spectral fine structure and also its dependence on interimpurity correlations. The theory relationships are devoid of the drawbacks of preceding theories (ambiguity and non-physical relationships of physical quantities, the loss of translation symmetry of equations averaged over impurity locations) and provide a clear description of the phenomena. The results can be extended to other type excitations (excitons, electrons, magnons).
